Family ties

Hi, my name is Zoran. I'm a Romanian rescue dog and have been living with my foster family here in the UK for a few months now. I love it, but it's time for me to move on to my forever home. I hope someone sees me and can tell what a loving boy I am.
My foster Mummy says I deserve a mega special home as I am so amazing. I walk well on the lead, love to play, and enjoy lots of cuddles. I'm just waiting for the perfect family to come along. I hope it's you!

Everything's Rosie

Hey I'm Rosie, a medium-sized dog with the biggest personality. I will light up any family home and keep you entertained and on your toes all day long. Being an active young lady I love to be out and about on walks and challenging my mind with agility, flyball and clicker training. I'd love a like-minded human to accompany me as well as enjoy chill out time in the evenings on a cosy sofa with lots of cuddles.
Earlier this year I was sadly returned to the Centre due to my family moving away and I was unable to go with them. I love the carers at Leicester Animal Aid as they ensure I get everything I need but I do dream of having another home to call my own and hope this time it will be forever. I could possibly live with a compatible dog that is as outgoing as I am and could be left for part of the day. But be warned, on your return there will be plenty of hugs and kisses!
I can be quite boisterous sometimes and not know my own strength, so I would best suit living with teenage children as they are more robust. I require a secure garden with high fencing as I have been known to go and see the neighbours, and at the Centre my canine friends in the next play area. I was fully housetrained in my previous home as I had a set routine and didn't have to go to bed as early as I do at the Centre, so sadly I do need the toilet through the night, but throughout the day I can go as I please outdoors.

Ivy League

Hello everyone, my name is Ivy and I can't wait to meet you as I love making new friends and have a lot of love and affection to give. I really am a big softie who likes nothing more that being around other people having lots of cuddles and play time. I tend to worry when I'm left by myself which is something that would need ongoing training and patience. I'm very social with other dogs and have a great time running about off lead with all my friends here at Lincoln Farm playing chase and all sorts. It is important to remember that I am still very young and willing and eager to learn so would enjoy and benefit from going to training classes with my new family.

Snowy for New Year?

Hi, I'm Snowy, a medium-sized dog who loves to be on the go. I am looking for a home that is interested in the same things as me - agility, flyball, walks and lots of socialisation! I am such a happy, active boy who loves the company of other dogs so would really like to have some canine companions living with me. I have been at the Centre for nearly a year and all the staff are really surprised, considering how sweet I am.
I would prefer an adult-only home as a child kept trying to wake me up in my previous foster home and I'm not too keen on cats or other small animals. I can however be left for part of the day, providing I have a lot of mental stimulation and have had a good walk.
I have been nicknamed the 'Milky Bar Kid' as I am striking in my looks and devilishly smart, but under all that I am such a sensitive loving soul with a heart of gold. Could I be your saviour? I would really love to find my new home and family in 2015.

Happily Eva After

Hi, my name is Eva and I really can't wait to find a new home. I arrived at Blue Cross after I was found as a stray and they have been really kind to me. I have been doing lots of training, which I enjoy greatly. I have already learnt 'sit', 'down', 'paw' and I'm starting to get the hang of clicker training. I also walk nicely on a lead and just love getting outside to explore the countryside. It would be amazing to meet someone who likes the great outdoors as much as I do. I hope to meet you soon.

Home for Christmas?

Hi, my name is Bernie and I’ve been at Cheltenham Animal Shelter for over 400 days now. That’s a very long time and I really don’t know why. I can be a bit nervous with new people, I just want to know I can trust you before I give you all my love. I enjoy a nice walk on the lead, staying close to my humans, and I’m loving the treats I get for learning. I get spoiled whenever I sit, get down, watch or shake paws, and I’m trying to learn more words too. I also fetch things, but actually prefer to run past really fast and show you my toys instead. All that training and running wear me out, then it’s time for cuddles and if you rub my tummy I’ll love you forever. Whilst I like to walk with other dogs, and often get introduced to new ones to help them settle in the shelter, I am looking for a home of my own so I can enjoy all the fuss to myself. I know outdoors is where the toilet is, so I should settle in a home quite quickly, especially if there aren’t any other furries or young children to distract me. I’m hoping for my forever home, but I can be fostered if you want to give me a holiday from the kennels. Caring Cassie

Hello, I'm Cassie. I'm an old lady now, but I have spent many years in rescue. I'm not sure why as I am not a bad dog, just luck of the draw I guess. I have shared my kennel with many boys over the years, most recently with a middle-aged Lurcher who was really good company. Now I am alone again, but I have a comfy armchair and bed, and a little garden to potter about in. I would love to find my retirement home though. Do you think you could find a space for me on your sofa?
I'm still energetic for my age, l love going out and about and playtime, and I walk well on the lead. I'm very affectionate - that's a bonus isn't it? I love being the centre of attention. I am taking medication for my heart, but my carers say they will carry on paying this expense when I find my new family.
