Hi, my name is Bernie and I’ve been at Cheltenham Animal
Shelter for over 400 days now. That’s a very long time and I really don’t know
why. I can be a bit nervous with new people, I just want to know I can trust
you before I give you all my love. I enjoy a nice walk on the lead, staying
close to my humans, and I’m loving the treats I get for learning. I get spoiled
whenever I sit, get down, watch or shake paws, and I’m trying to learn more
words too. I also fetch things, but actually prefer to run past really fast and
show you my toys instead. All that training and running wear me out, then it’s
time for cuddles and if you rub my tummy I’ll love you forever. Whilst I like
to walk with other dogs, and often get introduced to new ones to help them
settle in the shelter, I am looking for a home of my own so I can enjoy all the
fuss to myself. I know outdoors is where the toilet is, so I should settle in a
home quite quickly, especially if there aren’t any other furries or young
children to distract me. I’m hoping for my forever home, but I can be fostered
if you want to give me a holiday from the kennels. If you’re interested in
